Useful Retirement Planning Tools

One of our chit chats with my fellow mommies who are also waiting for our kids in school was our life as a stay at home mom. We also talked about our work and our plans in the future. One of my newly found mommy friends in school is already a grandmom of 2 kids. She was talking about her retirements because she want to receive a steady income stream in her retirement.

I asked her about annuity, how it works and what are the annuity payments since I don’t know much about it. She told me that you will make an investment in the annuity, and it then makes payments to you on a future date or series of dates. The income you receive from an annuity can be monthly, annually or even in a lump sum payment.

I find annuities a useful retirement planning tools because it offers many benefits over the traditional retirement savings plans.  You can choose anytime and you can elect to receive a guaranteed monthly income for life.

My Future Benefit

Well it seems that its too early for me to say things about retirement but I know I’m gonna use it which will serve as my future benefit soon. I believe that social security disability insurance is a kind of program that will provide support  during periods of short-term disabilities that includes  my compensation, insurance, savings and investments.

I will check out more of this valuable information online on how I could qualify for Social Security retirement benefits, about my family’s benefit based on my earnings record as well as those things that I need to know on how I could apply for it.

I will also ask my mom about this since it will also benefit her a few years now when she will  decide to resign for her work.  I’m also checking out other  sources of retirement income and post-retirement concerns such as housing, medical care, and leisure activities.

It’s Better to Be Safe Than Sorry

If you own a business where you or your employees will be driving your own vehicles or customer’s vehicles on the public highway, you operate as a vehicle fitter or a mobile tuner where you provide repair services to vehicles or you buy and sell vehicles for profit.

You might compare motor trade insurance options to life insurance coverage options that includes choices for loss of work , medical expenses coverage, and other types of coverage that you’ll probably never need, but could require the use of during some unforeseen event in the future as being basically the same. Where one protects your life and well-being on a personal and individual level while the other does very similar things for your business.

You may be doing good enough with your business and have a good track record with no accidents, no customer complaints and no other damaging incidents occurring and because of this you might think that basic third party motor trade insurance coverage is enough. It would make sense to consider that anything can  happen. You may wind up with a mechanic who doesn’t do very good work at your garage or a customer or employee who crashes a brand new car on a test drive, that’s why it’s always better to be safe than sorry, right?
