Here’s our recent photo with my mom and my daughter. Can you see any resemblance on us? Well, they say that blood is thicker than water. It really is! My mom and I are so alike in so many ways. Our likes, dislikes, favorites, talents and even skills we are so the same.

Here comes our little girl who also possess the same personality like us. Its just amazing to see the three generations from grandmother, daughter and grand daughter. The good moral values that we instill to our family has always pass on from generation to generation.

Here’s our photo of our Budol Fight eating last week together with the leaders of our church. This is our first time to have this thrilling way of eating with family and friends and we enjoyed it so much! If you’re wondering what Budol Fight is, well it is a term used in eating using your bare hands and serving the food that is scattered on the table with banana leaves that usually serve as the plate. It is believed that eating with bare hands while standing beside the table together with friends or family will make this food trip even exciting.

This type of serving or eating can be done in any occasions or even without special occasions. Often, groups would decide eat together, after a short activity or just a simple food trip with friends. Budol Fight is a way of eating foods that promotes bonding and fun. Anybody in the group can get food anywhere as long as it is still on the table.

The preferred foods to serve are usually the ones that doesn’t have a soup such us fried or grilled chicken or pork, rice and many others. What makes budol fight it even more fun is that it is often served as if there is a limited time and one must eat in a hurry as the others might get the remaining food in the middle. Plus you are right in front of the others smiling and eating as if it is just playing.

I just got back from the encounter with God retreat and I was so overwhelmed by all the delegates who joined the retreat. Our church hosted the event and we are so thankful that it was a successful one. After hearing all those powerful testimony about what they had experience during the encounter, it was worth the time, effort and even money because its priceless. Nothing compares on the life changing experience that they felt as they realize how beautiful life is when God is on their side.

When you are going to attend an encounter retreat with God, you will begin to experience the freedom that only Christ can give such as breakthroughs in their relationship with God and others in their lives, physical and emotional healing , lives have been changed and transformed and wounded hearts have been restored and broken relationships have been mended .

It is a series of teachings that will help you to establish and deepen your relationship with God. The teachings are focused on God and what He can to do in your life. Every person who has attended an Encounter God Retreat has come away with a deeper knowledge of God and experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit in their lives. That’s what I love about having an Encounter with God retreat. I hope and pray that you will also attend an Encounter God retreat so that you will experience the healing, hope, forgiveness, and freedom that only God can bring into your life.

Tomorrow is a special day for my brother in law because he will be celebrating his 26th birthday. Now I am struggling to find a birthday gift for him which will serve as our gift from my whole family. I actually find men difficult to buy for. They never seem to want anything, and when they do they just head out and buy it for themselves.

Finding a suitable present for him can be a bit difficult, and all my ideas tend to nestle back to the same old sports kit and electronic gadgets and some other great birthday gift ideas for him. Oh well, he’s kinda foodie, so I think we better take him to restaurants easton and have a candle light dinner together with his wife. I think its gonna be an evening that is worth remembering.
