Our Encounter with a Demon Possessed

All of the young people members of our church was revived last Saturday night when we had a revival night in singing praises to God as well as doing an altar call and healing. We thought that this event was enough. We never expected that there is something more where God showed and proved to us His great and mighty power when one of our young people member was suffering for almost a year of bondage’s of sin while she’s wearing an amulet and all those witchcraft. She was demon possessed and we thanked God that through our unity in prayers, we were able to cast out that demon out from her body.

My hubby was able to capture some photos during that time but for privacy sake and for her safety, I will not post her photos. I know you may not want to see the real demon which is clearly shown on her face. If you have seen the movie, The Exorcist, all of those demon possessed actions actually happened on her in real life. We have seen and witnessed it with our own eyes. If you’re in that certain situation, I know you will be scared or maybe you will run away because you don’t know what to do about it.

We asked her best friend about her history and background of her life and we found out that she used to have a suitor before but she rebuffed him and she later on discovered that his suitor bewitched or voodooed her.  In order to protect her from harm and danger, her mother bought an amulet and she used to wear it every day.

She told us that when that amulet necklace was with her, she have experienced different unfortunate events and struggles in life where she always get sick and her badly behaved personality and traits was getting worse. She also told us that she always saw supernatural beings from darkness. That simply means that amulets doesn’t protect and help us.  And the worst thing about it, our soul will lead us to hell specially if we don’t know how to cast out the evil spirit who are controlling our self from doing evil things.

If you believe in witchcraft including wearing a weapon using an amulet will give you power to control everything, where you think it will give you all the luck, well think again because you may have it but there is something in exchange of it.  I have witnessed how the devil used our young people when it came inside her body. We have seen the demon on her whole look and image.

We thanked God that we are equipped with God’s word and through our unity in prayers and all our praises, we have successfully made a deliverance of that evil spirit away from her body. If we were not committed to God, then probably that bad spirit will transfer to another body. We have rebuke and cast it out in Jesus Name. Thank you Lord for showing us how Great and Mighty you are!

Last Christmas

Advance Merry Christmas everyone! For my entry this week I’m gonna share our  fun and enjoyable Christmas Party and Thanksgiving from our Church last year.

It’s indeed a Happy Christmas for us since we enjoyed eating this crispy lechon baboy. Our fellow church members did the roasting of this pig so it comes from the hard work and effort with love. ^_^

We had our exchanging of gifts too!

We also did some games and one of them is the coca cola drinking contest. The one who finished the bottle first won a cash prize courtesy from yours truly. :)

We are actually excited for our upcoming Christmas Party and Thanksgiving this coming December 19. I also thanked my mom for being so generous because she will be giving away special gifts to all of our fellow church members aside from food donations. I’m sure its gonna be a blast and fun day as we are going to celebrate Christmas together with our family and friends just like what did last Christmas.

Me Singing All for Love – My Own Version

Here’s our acoustic version of the song All for Love by Hillsong. My hubby played the guitar while I am on the vocal.

Enjoy listening and Be Blessed!

Have a Nice Weekend and God bless everyone!

ALL FOR LOVE LYRICS – HILLSONG UNITED
All for love a Father gave
For only love could make a way
All for love the heavens cried
For love was crucified

Oh how many times have I broken Your heart
But still You forgive
If only I ask
And how many times have You heard me pray
Draw near to me

Everything I need is You
My beginning, my forever
Everything I need is You

Let me sing all for love
I will join the angel song
Ever holy is the Lord
King of Glory
King of all

Oh how many times have I broken Your heart
But still You forgive
If only I ask
And how many times have You heard me pray
Draw near to me

10-10-10!

Today is the 10th day of the 10th month of the year 2010. Numerologists and seers says it is a lucky day.

What is it about the No. 10? We’re born with 10 fingers and 10 toes, and Top 10 lists are ubiquitous these days. Across America and the world, there’s a rush among people planning to get married on the date, making it a busy 24 hours for those who perform wedding ceremonies.

One website analyzing the predictions concerning what might happen on 10/10/10 says most opinions are based on or are rooted in its mathematical uniqueness as a number, with three possible outcomes:
1. Something good happens— There is absolutely no scientific basis for this belief. There are no known logical premises for this belief. The belief that something good will happen is based solely on spiritualism, faith, and/or innate optimism. This belief is not necessarily a bad thing; we don’t know everything; the probability is not zero.

2. Nothing happens— This is the most likely scenario. Just because an unusual date number sequence occurs doesn’t mean that something will happen. Usually it’s a non-event.

3. Something bad happens— There is absolutely no scientific basis for this belief. There are no known logical premises for this belief. The belief that something bad will happen is based solely on pessimism of reality. This belief is not necessarily false; after all, things are generally/usually a mess. The probability is not zero.

I’m not a fan of numerology nor even believe in luck, but it is by the grace of God. I  believe that power comes only from God and  not from numbers, or things, or coincidences. For me, every day is a day of our Lord. It matters not under what number it falls. It’s our choice to make it happy or gloomy. He pours out His blessings to us.  But it is only for those who believes in grace and who remain faithful to Him.

We Never Know What Could Happen to Us

How would you react if one day you and your close friend or loved one had some fun chatting with all the joy and laughter you shared together during your conversation and on the following day, you were just shocked when you found out that he or she died?

Yesterday, we were informed that the son of our family friend was brought in the ICU at the hospital due to a motorcycle accident. He was on his coma stage and we are actually planning to visit our friend but it was too late when we found out that he already died today.

On a much deeper level, and in true reality, I am reminded of a text in  the Bible particularly on the Revelation where John describes an awesome scene, a real scene that takes much longer to unfold, and then looks into eternity.

“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True”.

It was written in the Book of Revelation 19 that it is our destiny, but the bottom line for me is the name of the rider on the horse, “Faithful and True.” At the end of the day, it is the Lord Jesus Christ who is ultimately faithful, the only One who can be trusted. He comes to make things right and true. In the meantime, we need to claim God’s faithfulness to us in these times. This time will pass, things will continue to change and, though we will never know how things will unfold, God has a purpose  and God will have His way.

Jesus Celebration

J is for Jesus!
We attended and joined the Jesus Celebration inter church praise concert which a gathering of all churches here in our city as we give thanks and praise to the Lord our God.

This is my ABC Wednesday entry for this week.

A Wedding and a Funeral

I had a busy weekend this week that’s why I wasn’t able to update my blogs and do my blog hopping. Last Saturday, hubby and I traveled miles away back to my hometown to witnessed the most memorable moment of my cousin’s wedding. I cried for joy when I saw my beautiful cousin while walking down the aisle. I can see the full happiness and joy from her eyes and I am so happy for her that she finally tied a knot from her long time boyfriend. Their wedding was one of the grandest, most touching and most heartwarming wedding I had ever attended. We all celebrated with gladness from our hearts as we witnessed their marriage which was sealed with God’s love and faithfulness.

On the other side, just today after our Church Sunday service, we visited the family of our fellow church member who is also one of our young adult who died a few days ago after giving birth. We were all shocked when we heard the bad news about what happened to her. She died when she gave birth to her baby boy.The baby was alive but she wasn’t able to recover because of too much blood which was lost. She has a weak body and even before when she was still pregnant, she always gets sick. It’s just too sad to know since we did not expect for this situation to happen. She was only 19 and she was too young to die. We felt so sad because we will be missing her presence, however, as a Christian we are glad that she is now back in the Hands of the Lord.

We are busy the whole day for our church band practice today because aside from our regular practice from our church music team for tomorrow’s Sunday service, on Monday night we will be the one who will host and lead the Praise and Worship service on the other affiliate church organization where we also a member with. It’s gonna be an awesome night of great revival for both young people and adults who will truly enjoy singing and dancing in the presence of the Lord!
